Clemson up 21-3 at the end of the half and tries a 61 yard field goal. Miami blocks it and take it back for a touchdown. Wonder if that will give them a spark to play better in the 2nd half.

It doesn’t seem to have impacted them. I was figuring they’d try a Hail Mary in that situation. The Miami PR just made an awful decision, but lucked out.
Unless the entire first and second team unit on Clemson gets Covid we are going to lose by 40 or more points to them.
Dabo was fuming at halftime interview. That is the type of fire you want your coach to have when leading 21-10. He expects perfection and took responsibility for the mistakes that were made.

Anyone that thought Miami “finally found their QB“ must not have watched King much during his Houston career. He would regularly dice up those poor to mediocre AAC defenses, but when faced with better competition he struggled mightily.

Wasn't he the coach who went for it on 4th down against Pitt a few years ago, which set up Pitt to hit the game-winning field goal? I'd say that was worse than this call.
