Continuing to yell at the kid is stupid IMHO. I can't stand coaches who have to berate. Move on.

The kid decided.... ON HIS OWN.... to try a fake punt on 4th and 17 in the biggest game of their season to date. It was not a called fake.... the punter decided to do it on his own.
There's nothing wrong with a coach yelling at a player. These aren't babies, they're young men. They can take it.
Just like Saban earlier today chewing out #7 for the block in the back on the punt return.
This generation of kids is too coddled. It's "Generation Cry Baby" and they need to suck it up.

I would've told him to hit the showers and go home. Making a mistake is one thing. But who the hell does that on their own? You do not just go against what the coach says because you feel like it. Absolutely ridiculous on the kid's part.
