it is clear not only has he not improved from last year, but also it is clear that this is as good as he will get. Bad QB play has cost Pitt immensely, for years. I don't know what Pederman is like as a qb but at this point I don't think he can be any worse than Voytik

Agree. Voytik looks horrible like Tino. This is going to be a bad year, I can feel it but what else is new with Pitt football.

both had 1 good throw and one int

Disagree with this post completely. Everyone wanted to run Stull out of town early on, and wanted Tino, and Stull proved to be a solid QB. I see promise in CV.
First off, Stull did not turn out to be a solid qb. But the mistakes Voytik made today (nervous in the pocket, no pocket presence, missing open receivers) are the same things he did last season. You would think he would have erased all of that over the last 9 months. The fact that he hasn't tells me that the Voytik you see now is the one you will see for the rest of his tenure at Pitt.
Stull was a solid QB.It's all a matter of perspective.If I remember right he didn't blow the game v uc.It was bad D and terrible special teams.You have to win all three phases.

71 wants every QB to be Marino. They come around once in a lifetime. Chad is a decent college QB. If 71 would actually watch college ball he would see that even the top rated programs had QB problems today. Stanfords QB looked like crap, ASU QB was sackes 8 times PSU QB who was supposed to be the first drafted next year was sacked 10 times. Its the first game, they won.
