Coach K brought the bag out

Well that sucks, but not unexpected once they entered the picture.
It wasn’t unexpected, but at this point even the most optimistic people are beginning to get frustrated.
I just wish pitt would someday get lucky enough to have a coach who learned the ins and outs of how someone like coach k gets things done
That coach would have to have the blessings of his superiors, even though they always claim they had no idea how things get done .
Blakes is a nice player but you’re talking about a fringe top 100 guy. You don’t “drop bags” for those kids.
From the kid’s perspective, he was always looking into a high academic (Pretty sure he was looking at the Ivy League seriously), so it’s pretty easy to see why he committed immediately after the Duke offer as that offers him both high end academic and athletic opportunities.
Duke doesn’t often offer kids at this end of the top 100, mostly because 95% of kids will jump on a Duke offer the moment it’s put on the table. I can assure you that a “bag” was not dropped to get this player.
