Told my wife the same thing.A much needed win, but probably the second best thing about it was sending James out a winner in his final (hopefully) game at home.
I think his play has been fairly steady all season, but notice when his teammates actually play better, the PG looks better?great kid-- where has this play been all year---he looked like a different point guard today--was it because of senior day?
WeirdI think his play has been fairly steady all season, but notice when his teammates actually play better, the PG looks better?
James deserved that home send off!
he looked like a different point guard today
no he looked better, actually drove and dished and made shots in the lane and from outside--need it to continue.Weird
yea he did, if you don't see it, you are a fool.Actually no, he really didn't.

well its been a 4 year long narrative, and if he played like he did today I would have nothing to say, great game lets see if he continues!!!--- maybe its the offense he is running---Dixon opened it up today like they were playing IUP.So he looked differently today than he did against Louisville? Or Syracuse? Or against Wake when he missed a triple double by one assist?
He's been playing pretty well for a couple weeks now. I know that doesn't fit your year long narrative so you can't really admit that, but it doesn't make it any less true.
really--James taking it to the hoop---James driving and dishing like a point guard should or pulling up in the lane and hitting a 10 footer---not the same offense--you wrong!!!We ran the exact same offense today that we've run all season long.

I actually know what I'm watching, not sure some of you do.Just more evidence that you have no idea what you are watching.
When you find yourself in a hole the first rule is to stop digging.

I'm not going to lie. While I'd love to get a high seed. If we got an 8 in Villanova's region, I wouldn't be sad. Sending them home early would make my year. What a payback that would be for 2009.Yea. Lol. No NIT.
One more win would seal it for certainty (100%). Most likely playing for seeding now. A 7 seed or lower would be nice
Go Pitt.
Out of 330 teams. Basically every year of his career. I'd say that's pretty good.top 50 offensively---great.
Lol! You are a clown!I'm really quite cynical towards college sports, particularly in advocating for kids to get the F out of college and into the pros as quickly as possible.
But I ain't gonna lie, part of what brought me to love Pitt hoops so much was seeing kids work their way through the program and get celebrated on senior day. Great to see James continue that tradition.
I think they are going to put an ACC and an A-10 in that regional with Nova. I think it's gonna be Syracuse/Pitt/ND with VCU, how's that for a guess?I'm not going to lie. Lol...yeah, Dixon opened it up, rather than holding them back in other games, probably only the ones we lost. Dear Moses.well its been a 4 year long narrative, and if he played like he did today I would have nothing to say, great game lets see if he continues!!!--- maybe its the offense he is running---Dixon opened it up today like they were playing IUP.

So you love kids who put a lifetime into their sport and have little or no chance to make a living in the sport that they love. Pitt senior basketall players are longshots in the NBA.
I'd prefer kids with good character, who are at the top level in their sport, who go to the NBA
as soon as eligible and make a living in their sport. Did you cry when they annouced tbe
seniors?
Basically he is trying to show you how manly he is. Might have been scratching himself and burping whilst typing.I have no idea what you are trying to say.
difference between me and you-- I would want to be in the top 10,but, 50 is great too.Out of 330 teams. Basically every year of his career. I'd say that's pretty good.
Being in the top 15% of all college offenses consistently for 12-13 years is great...but you didn't use the purple font so I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or you genuinely don't know what you are talking about
I wouldn't go so far to say that it's pretty good, but it does contradict the dimwitted notion some here have that Dixon outright can't coach an offense and that he's boring.Out of 330 teams. Basically every year of his career. I'd say that's pretty good.

You are such a " wanna be do gooder."!I have no idea what you are trying to say.
He has had years in the top 10. I don't know if anyone has been in the top 10, of 330 teams, for that long. I would suspect not.difference between me and you-- I would want to be in the top 10,but, 50 is great too.
If being in the top 15% of all college offenses for more than a decade doesn't make you a "pretty good" offensive coach, I don't know what would. This is what Pomeroy was talking about today, people just have this image ingrained in their mind that Jamie can't coach offense, when the numbers suggest he's one of the better offensive coaches out thereI wouldn't go so far to say that it's pretty good, but it does contradict the dimwitted notion some here have that Dixon outright can't coach an offense and that he's boring.
You are such a " wanna be do gooder."!
What a PITT fan !
You want PITT guys who aren't good enough to go to the NBA early? PITT doesn't produce a large quantity of NBA players and we need more!
Most fans want a whole team of those guys! Reload and add another similar group.
Remember its college sports and the goal is WINNING! Character is important but without that they wont last at the next level.
Most of these guys aren't playing basketball as a supplement to their academics!
Good night as you go on and on with your circular rhetoric!
What exactly was circular about his logic, other than the fact that he may have typed an "o"? Also, keep track of who is liking your posts, it may lead you to rethink your position. You are such a " wanna be do gooder."!

Basically, you aren't manly enough. Maybe. Now pass the keystone light and the cheese doodles.I really tried to make sense of his posts. I failed.
