Coach of the year

Getting UDub into the playoffs will be the best coaching job in a decade.

The only thing that prevents Petersen from being the runaway winner is East Coast bias.

Whichever team wins the Washington/Colorado game. Those two programs (especially Colorado) were in total freefall before their current coach arrived.

Conversely, who do you pick for the biggest head coach disappointment?

Kelly, ND
Jones, Tennessee
Miles, LSU
Graham, ASU
Rodriguez, Arizona
Mora, UCLA
D'Antonio, Michigan State
Strong, Texas
Freeze, Mississippi

Are we taking this season or career? Miles and Kelly both had great runs at LSU and Notre Dame but didn't get it done this year.

Fraud Graham is an excellent candidate, an incredibly disappointing season this year. Rich Rod was able to beat him but Arizona had a miserable year. D'Antonio another good track record but his team was a complete mess this season.

But going with career and just this season, Charlie strong is the answer for both. You don't get time to rebuild at Texas. They shell out big money usually, and they expect to win every single season. Usually year 4 is the deciding year, at Texas 3 losing seasons nobody would've kept that job. After what he did at Louisville they thought they wouldn't miss a beat. I think he's maybe the most disappointing hire in college football in quite some time.
