I made a comment in another thread.. I respect the professional attire of shirt, tie and sometimes a jacket for a lot of these hoops coaches but dang, does the thought of this in a hot gym, jumping up and down just makes me feel uncomfortable.. I'd go with the khaki, nice shoes, and either a nice button down shirt with rolled up sleeves or a nice university polo..

NFL coaches need to step it up a bit in attire.. they've gone off the deep end.. Belicheck of course but a lot of other coaches too. Tomlin dresses like I did when I was 19, going to jacks on the south side.. Baseball managers look like idiots.. Seeing an out of shape 60 year old manager in tight-ass baseball pants and a jersey 3 sizes too small is a situation where no one wins.. The player-manager days are over, let these guys wear normal clothes..

Coaches should be able to dress down on Friday's, like the rest of us. Of course, it scares me what Huggins would wear if he dressed down, as his baseline already is bad. Wife beater tank top and jean cut off shorts? He reminds me in appearance of Cousin Eddie.

I'm pretty sure that baseball managers still wear the uni's, dating back to the days when there were player-managers. Maybe MLB should think about more player-managers as some of them start toward retirement but are still capable of producing a clutch hit

Yes. I always thought it was weird how baseball managers STILL wear uniforms; especially since they are almost all out of shape. I don't need to see that crap. They should ware khaki pants, Little League Style! It's not like there are player/managers anymore.

Baseball dugouts are filthy! I don't blame them for not wearing their own clothes. Especially since they have to do it every day for 6 months. In the summer. I do think BB coaches wearing suits- and dress shoes- is stupid. Wear sweats and gym shoes. Women BB coaches have it the worst. They have to dress up and wear heels. Only thing dumber than that are the fat middle-aged ladies at dog shows that have to run around all dressed up with their dogs.

Could you imagine a wrestling coach wearing a singlet as standard attire. Fat baseball coaches need to drop the uniforms.

My guess too and the coaches are in the field of play at the corner bases....

Everything about baseball is different

The coach from vision quest would but had a collared shirt underneath. A look that im surprised hasn't taken off..
