Sounds like Lavin may be gone. One of my sources tell me that he should be out by Tuesday. I believe Zagoria is reporting that St. John's is working on an extension. So, there are obviously conflicting reports.
If Lavin is fired, look for Ben Howland to be in the mix there as well. Like I have said, that can be a tough job. There aren't many players left in the city. Regardless, Howland will be coaching somewhere next year. The guy has won everywhere, and several schools have already reached out to him.
Also, I have heard that Rick Barnes will be fired. That is a really big job. They have a ton of money and are looking for an upgrade. Plenty of names will be involved with this one. The two Millers for sure, Shaka, etc.
Andy Toole could be a candidate at Dayton if Archie moves on. That would be a really good job for him.
