Pitt recruit Cole Matthews was the USA representative in a USA vs Indiana (Indiana?), and won an 8-6 victory at 138 pounds. Before the match, he was Intermat’s #10 ranked high school wrestler at his weight.

I think Indiana won 3 of 14 matches.

Assuming Philippi wrestles at 133, Matthews appears that he will slot in at 141.

He should have moved up. Glad he did. He won for PA in the Dapper Dan and now won this. Do they have Sasso ahead of him? I don’t believe they ever wrestled in high school because their schools are in different classifications. I believe Sasso lost in the Dapper Dan at a lower weight.
