Kid is damn good. I wouldnt be surprised if he has a Nino type year this year. Got 4th at U23's. Fast, quick, strong, good scrambler and takedown defense, and keeps good position. Beat some strong wrestlers along the way, including Kanen Storr, although I think he got a gift from the officials at the end of that one.

Definitely. Can only beat the guy in front of him though. He did.

Shame he got caught in an ankle lace in that first loss. Beat the guy otherwise.

Showed good determination to beat the Mizzou kid at the end. I was impressed with that one. The head and arms to pin Madrigal was gorgeous too.

Yea I think Mathews could be a good one for us. I caught a couple of his matches this year on flo and he has all the tools just needs to keep working
