It's based on playoff appearances and the ACC still has FSU and Clemson so it makes sense.

Now, if/when teams move during this deal, it says they will reassess. ACC will probably move below the Big XII but stay above the G5.

Seems way more likely the deal gets restructured if that happens because the B1G and SEC are going to demand more guaranteed spots.
