Exactly. Ratings and attendance would be exactly the same if they used the old rule requiring Americans. The South Americans increase the level from "totally sucks" to "sucks." That isnt a good enough reason to deny American kids a spot in MLS.

Like I said, I don't care either way, it's not a factor I take into consideration when watching.

No, I am a soccer nationalist. I want an American league to have American players.....unless its a world class league, in which case you can bring all the top tier South Americans you want.
