Pickett played well when given the opportunity to throw downfield,

Overall mediocre effort by defense and punter. Kessman was Kessman!
Defense stepped up when needed.

We did win and that is satisfying, although we didn’t play all that well in all facets of the game.

Let's get better for 2020. Pickett had many great moments while surrounded by a pretty lousy OL and receivers. He needs to get better but we're fortunate to have him.

Ford, Twyman, Jones, Weaver and Camp coming back will be huge. All can be dynamic.

I'm thrilled with our freshman WR's and the kids we signed. I even like the Davis' at RB. The OL needs to be improved. 71 was a waste of space and it's so discouraging that he played. None of the youngsters looked remotely competitive even late in the season. There don't appear to be any good recruits ready to jump in. Borbely needs to earn is pay. OL is the key to 2020.

Carson Van Lynn is very good with huge upside. He needs to start in 2020.

A win is certainly better than a loss even against a bad opponent which ECU was.

Wasn't pretty but there are some signs of encouragement moving forward. Also some things that really need to get rectified.

OL is by far the biggest question mark going into 2020. That unit needs the most improvement. I don;t know exactly where that comes from though. Maybe a grad transfer but that didn't work too well this year as the Grad Transfer was probably their weakest link.

Pickett is so frustrating at times to watch because he shows flashes of being a great QB but his inconsistency is maddening. He probably is what he is at this point. Hopefully he can figure out a way to limit his turnovers in 2020 because that is his biggest issue by far. If he can do that, then I think he can lead this offense to a better season especially with the young WR's getting a year under their belts now.

I like Pickett. He is a warrior and a great leader. He improved a lot over last year. He still has lots of things he can clean up. He still takes too many dumb sacks, locks on, and throws into coverage far too often. He makes a lot of plays too, and he made just enough last night to pull out the win.

Pitt has to find a running game to take some of the pressure off Kenny next year.
