Especially after losing the first two sets to a team they have had trouble beating the last two years and lost to earlier this season 3-0.
If they win their two remaining matches they will be ACC champs as Louisville currently has 1 more conference loss than Pitt.

Yeah might as well start another thread on these boards. If anyone deserves it, it’s them. Or maybe womens soccer too.
They decided to play it on a non-football Saturday afternoon because they were trying to get as many fans in the building as possible, recognizing that playing then meant that it would only be streamed. There were almost 8900 there, so in that respect it worked.
Oh OK. I'm not local, so didn't think about that.
I think they could've still gotten a decent crowd on Sunday though. National exposure is important for the growth of the game and a top 10 matchup should be on TV.
There would have been a lot fewer people there if they played on a Sunday afternoon when the Stillers were playing. That's just the way that it is in this town.
As far as television, even playing on Sunday wouldn't have guaranteed anything. Maybe it would have gotten them an ACCN game, but then again, maybe not. It's not like playing today would have gotten the game on ESPN or something similar.
GT played Syracuse on ACCN, so they possibly could have gotten that slot.
