With James Connor hurting his knee and missing the entire season it had to hurt his draft stock. Anyone know if he is considering coming back next season to improve his draft position or is it a foregone conclusion that he is gone? If he does come back will it hurt our chances of flipping miles sanders?

I doubt the injury affected his draft stock; RBs aren't as highly valued as they once were, and outside of catastrophic injuries like total dislocations and compound fractures, scouts aren't concerned about 'routine' knee injuries.

And his body took one less year of punishment in college ball, a bonus for his pro career. He has a more than ample body of work in college and has nothing left to prove.

Any one know the current condition of his knee?

Pretty minor injury. Didn't affect his draft value at all. Not being able to show he can catch and pass protect means he won't be inn the 1st or 2nd round.

I see it totally differently and may be outright wrong, but I think everyone is missing the point about James Connor injury. James is a very special person, man, and player. Just a quiet Doer of Character for others just like Revis, Fitzgerald, and Donald.

Just look at his Charities Work, his devotion to Children with Disabilities, and this is why I am concluding it is not about the NFL but about his Life and Playing at Pitt with his Teammates!

He badly wants to come back and play this season and not just for the NFL he loves it and is committed to being a Pitt Player with his Team for his University.

I suspect if I am correct we could see James back in the Notre Dame Game, if not then the Duke Game. All I can say is he is working to get healthy for this year and if it can happen he will make it happen. If not he still will work be healthy and go to the NFL regardless of what his Draft Status will be, because he give 100% all the time on anything he does or decides to do.

It not about the Bucks in the NFL it is about Life and how he lives his Life not just for himself but others.

Pitt has been blessed with these types of Players and the athletic Department should start publicizing it, in Articles that provides the profiles about becoming a Pitt Player in the ways they give back and live their lives!
