After Pitt beat Duke at MSG in 2007, I remember vividly Coach K saying Pitt won because of its consistent toughness. Obviously, that is not a trait that the current team has shown a whole lot of this year.
But, I think for 1 game yesterday they did show it. Watching the game live I was really impressed with the defensive intensity. It really looked like 1 of the old defensive efforts we grew to love about Pitt teams.
