Could Chaney cost us any recruits?

Only thing I think could be affected is Peterman. Chad may stay now, and if he does Nate may have to beat him out during training camp. I doubt anyone transfers to Georgia though.

Don't see how Nate could play next year after transferring a 2nd time in 2 years.

Peterman is better without a doubt. I doubt it affects that unless Narduzzi hires a read option OC which I doubt.

He won't transfer. I was talking about a QB battle again at Pitt with Voytik-Peterman if Chad now stays.

McVittie is a huge recruit for us and he basically verbaled because Chaney was our OC. This could be a big problem, QB issues yet again...

It hurts with sanders too
I disagree. If anything, with James leaving, the backfield just got a little less crowded. I think the Sanders-flip idea is still a long shot, but I think it isn't any different now that Chaney is gone.

We do have a big weekend thus weekend honestly but I haven't seen too many names matched to Chaney to be honest. If anything our offense was so bland and unimaginative this year that I would say it helps to get someone new.
I think Narduzzi calling him out a few times this year didn't make me feel too warm and fuzzy about Chaney in the first place.
My only defense for him was, ok uou lost your best player the first game of the year and you had to quickly throw the whole game plan away and immediately make a new one. That had to be tough.

I must have been watching a different Pitt offense. I thought Chaney was pretty creative - e.g., did a nice job getting T Boyd the ball in different ways. And he spread the ball around much better than Chryst was able to do.

Always some calls you'd like to see different, but I'm sorry to see Chaney go.

Go Pitt.

Chaney was a more effective recruiter than people assume looking at him.

He changed the whole qb situation for the program in a year for the better getting peterman and then mcvittie, he also was very effectively recruting the second of their two primary qb prospects for the next class.

Sanders did like him.

His offense wanst bland, it was the most creative offense we have seen in a LONG time here, heck, boyd touched the ball 20 times a game. Whta is bizarre is how off the wall criticism of him is. Half the people call his offense too bland the other half live in this fantasy world thatnif they just had run on everynplay they would have been undefeated.

There is a reason geogia threw almost a mil at him, nards hired him, beilema hired him, tennessee hired him ....

It isnt great losing him, they may or may not lose mcvittie, probably not, but it just cant help recruiting, and now the offense once again is going to have to transition to a new oc ...

I would say it was bland early on in the season. There were some wrinkles added throughout the season.
I do think he would outsmart himself from time to time.
