He left Pitt for St. Bonnies,
and was a backup to an
experienced all league C.
He was a disappointment
there, as fans thought
they were getting an ACC
starter. Little did they
know.... LOL. My guess is
the starter is returning
and Coulibaly is hitting
the portal again. Would
he be interested in Pitt?
Would Pitt be interested
in him?....IMO both are
doubtful.

But, but, but... ORTG......

As a backup, sure I'd take him back as an energy guy. However, that assumes the Zoom staff can sign someone better to start in front of him.

Would he be considered a recycled brick?

A10 is too high a level. He's mid-major and probably couldn't start at most.

He'd be fine as a flex 4/5 backup, I guess. More production that what Collier provided this past year. We really need to find a stretch four who can shoot... among other things.

Well then perfect, because that is what Coulibaly THINKS he is his and that's why he left to be utilized as such.

Haha, yeah - he ain't that. I remember seeing his tape when we recruited him and thinking to myself, "There is no way that can be his game over here."

He's really an old-school 4 more than anything. But that's sort of an antiquated role.

Capel needs warm bodies and Id take him off the bench. No way Capel can get 5 more guys better than him.

Cummings
Sibande
Burton
Hugley
?

Jeffress
Santos
Coulibaly

And they all can come back if they want.
That's true. The question I
was getting at, is will the
C he played behind come
back? If he does, Coulibaly
more than likely sits again,
if the C were to leave,
Coulibaly more than likely
would start.
Another question, will he
have to sit out a year
this time around if he
transfers again?

I thought the same thing that he would have to sit out, but maybe he is considered a "grad transfer" thus not sitting out?

I think he was more skilled than Collier.

It would hard to be less skilled than Collier. I mean, he seemed to have some bounce in his step, but he was more of an athlete than a basketball player. I pretty much see Coulibaly as the exact opposite: A basketball player who isn't all that athletic at this level. But I'd take Coulibaly out of the two.

You don’t think he’d have been better in spots rather than collier , oladapo, Payton ?
His last game at Pitt.
Played 23 minutes..

He scored 0 Points and grabbed ZERO rebounds. It’s literally impossible to start and play 23 minutes at 6’7” and not grab 1 rebound..

But I’m sure his ORTG was off the charts!!!

Brown was pretty good at likewise not rebounding for a few years
