Couple observations on today's games...

==Saw the very end of the Syracuse game - the Orange were up 24-10 at the half, but they allowed Central Mich to march down the field and score at the end of the game to tie it. Syracuse won in OT - after being held scoreless in the second half... Central MIch ended up throwing the ball 51 times for 430 yards... Looked like your typical recent Syracuse teams; limited on offense; better on defense (though their secondary struggled this game).

==Saw a bit of the UNC versus Illinois game. Wow did the Illini look bad. Wish we were playing them instead of Iowa. That punt returner for UNC, Switzer, is a pain in the butt - returned one 85 yards for a TD. I hope we work on kicking the ball out of bounds that game.

==Hope we study the ND game to see what they are doing to hold down GT - saw GT have trouble handling the ball cleanly on some pitches... (Saw that ND might have lost another player due to a "celebration" injury.)

ND QB looks pretty good, maybe loss of MZ won't hurt them that much. Hope we go to school on ND defense vs GT..

GT's option will gash Pitt due to the Panthers' limited linebackers, but I expect Pitt to put some points on the board versus Tech's defense.

GT punter has had 3 punts in 2 games, prior to today?? Holy cow.

Looks like we'll have to defend the bounce pass against GT.

We held our own last year for 55 minutes of the game. It was just the first 7 touches resulting in 5 fumbles that did us in. (Insert sarcastic winky face)
