After today's release (confirmation) of information that Tom Bradley was aware (as if we did know this without having the proof) I will say that Steve Pederson does deserve some credit for never hiring Tom Bradley during the 237 football coaching searches during his time. I cannot believe I just said that, but could you imagine how Pitt would look today if he was our HC?

You are right. Add credit to Nordy. I have not spared either from athletic department criticism, but this causes me to conclude that if SP did nothing else, not hiring Bradley saved the university far more than his severance package cost.

That's kind of faint praise. I am thinking Bradley's possible involvement in the Sandusky affair was way down on the list of reasons for not hiring him.
