Team showed a lot of heart in the second half to come out with a tough win against a decent team on the road. Lose that game and they may not recover mentally for the rest of the season.

JROB was huge in the second half Kid gets a lot of grief but he is one of the better defenders on the team (consistently) and makes a lot of big time shots. To be honest he frustrates the heck out of me when he plays so tentatively like does on occasion (see Ville game and first half NCST) but he doesn't get enough credit for how steady he is.

Jamal and Mike had pretty bad games but made big time plays when needed

Sterling SMith....................good to see the kid take more shots and knock them down...........Keep on shooting young man...........this team needs you

CJ...........made some big time moves to the hoop........

Nelson Odoba..........pretty solid game..need to see more of that as he is a better athlete than Maia

Just a really solid win after the NCST game Basically salvaged the season IMO

If we can some how steal a win at Clemson, we'd be in Strong position.

Every game we have left on the schedule is against an RPI Top 100 team. The only ACC team not in the Top 100 is BC.

If we go 6-5 down the stretch, we'll have a RPI in the high 20s or low 30s. If we can find a way to go 7-4 down the stretch, we'll have an RPI in the low 20s going into the ACC Tourney.

A win at Clemson would be a very quality win.... because Clemson last three home games have been wins against ranked Duke, ranked Louisville, and ranked Virginia.

Coming back from 10 down at the half in a conference game is very tough to do. On the road against a team with the 'Noles firepower is even tougher. Every game from here on out will be a battle. To win short handed today with no Jeter was a tall order. Very big win for Pitt. But then again, they ALL are.

Very good resume win. Pitt now 3-1 at home and a very strong 2-1 on the road in conference play. The double bye is still within reach a win at Clemson would put Pitt in the drivers seat for one.

I look at it this way. Maia is a good rebounder, but you're sacrificing having a center that can score. ANO I think is a good shot blocker that has some decent offensive moves down-low, but he is not a very good rebounder. Neither one of them is perfect, so they need to play them according to what area they really need help in on any particular night. Also, disregarding how much he is usually mismatched, I've been most impressed with Luther.
