If Young or Artis return next year .. I guess it kinda depends on how the rest of this year goes .. I think it would be addition by subtraction honestly , like another poster pointed out they are skilled but not team players or tough players .. Exactly the opposite of what Pitt basketball should be about , Seems like their first priority is their offensive stats every night .. Give me a guy like Luther all day over these 2 , I don't want them anywhere near our young guys next year

Neither are good enough to make big money in europe.
The announcers showed a graphic last night. Four of the top 10 NCCA basketball NBA hopefuls are freshman. Others are second year players etc.
When did we ever get players like that?
We're always saying wait until they grow up and mature and still nothing.
While other teams have freshman ready for the NBA/big money we don't seem to have seniors in that position.
Common sense tells me something is wrong with player selection!

Artis and Young will be back next year, they have a hard time going against college players let alone NBA players

They'll both be back.
Mike might turn into a 2nd rounder...maaybe artis too...
but right now..they should both focus on getting a diploma, not on whether or not to come back next season.
(and by getting a diploma, i mean, plan to maybe not play bball with the rest of their life)

There is no way any scout could watch Artis and seriously think he could help a pro team right now. Young maybe, but he really has no position on the court after college. I will say though, his shot is almost good enough to play the 4 at the next level, but still needs to do some more work.

Hope all Pitt players can help a pro team one day, too bad they haven't helped a college team lately
