daimon lee

He's done really well against the bigger schools he played against this season... Colorado, St. Joe's, Miami, USC, Southern Miss, LaSalle, and Penn State. Not a good (tourney) team in the bunch, but he shot 45% on 3's (22-49), 84% from the line (32-38), and averaged 18.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and only 1.9 turnovers in those games. He struggled against Miami though, getting off only 6 shots in 37 minutes, and scoring 9 points.

He'd be an instant upgrade at the 2 spot, and would bridge the gap to Heron.

Lee is good...he is a volume scorer, some times getting up to 28 shots in a game.

Is he better than Durand Johnson? If Durand was at Drexel with the green light to shoot 20+ times, what would be his numbers?

Don't get me wrong...Daimon Lee would definitely be a player to roll the dice...is he a true 2 G at the ACC level? Or is he a wing scorer used to getting a ton of shots? That would be a delicate balance....definitely worth taking a shot, but he will be very highly sought after I am sure. I just think, personally, Durand is a better 6'6 wing option for Pitt next year. Kind of the same type of addition for the season. I am sure Lee would be looking for a place where he has a clear cut to 30 minutes and 15-20 shots a game. Pitt is probably looking for a way to fill the roster with a defensive upgrade in the paint and some perimeter scoring...but, with the idea that Artis, Young and Johnson are their main scoring options.

That makes sense...comes home for senior season, replaces Dez Wells as the player that gets the most shots in their system and if Melo Trimble gets a little aggressive with the NBA its a perfect spot for him.
