2 star bum that nobody was excited about. Tough year last year, but absolutely killed it as a Sophomore. If he continues like this, he’ll be a top 2 round draft pick. WPIAL kid under evaluated, under recruited busting his balls again. Where have we heard this before?

I was just thinking about this a few days ago, actually. I was looking back at some the WPIAL recruits from the last few years and when I got to his recruiting class, I couldn't find him. I had to keep on scrolling to the 2-stars until I finally found him and for some reason, I couldn't recall him being rated that low.

He was a pleasant surprise this year. We'll be counting on him next year for sure.

He was a 30 ppg basketball player. Big time athlete just not solely focused on football in high school.

Agree that he’s come on strong, but a long, long way before he’s considered a 2nd rounder.

Hope he continues to progress.

That’s why I said if he continues :)
6’ frame, needs to bulk up a little more and test a decent 40. He’s on his way.

I thought he looked very intriguing in the little PT he got last year, good size and really fluid. Refs do tend to let him play.

Wasn't he a QB in HS? I don't know if he played CB until Pitt. Pure athlete who needed coaching. Blue-bloods don't value those types so they don't generally offer them until late in the process. The kids that the blue-bloods offer early get the stars.

He seems like he has been watching Maddox and has picked up on 14's game a bit......and that is a very good thing IMO.

You will have these guys in every class, they missed evaluating him, good for us. Most of the time, the stars play to where they are slotted. You can't hope to overachiev, cause you will end up being us. You need a class with mostly high end 3 stars, few 4 stars sprinkled in, and a 5 star if you can get one at the key positions.

He has a very bright future and we have one corner spoken for for the next 2 years. Very natural, instinctive player that can get it done without being fundamentally perfect.

And the way Maddox has played the second half of the year, too bad he is a senior, could use him the next year or two
