Not sounding real good, I know Narduzzi is like Pravda with the injury news and this is the first I've seen anything regards to Derrick Davis. It didn't look gook when he was originally injured the last game, I hope he can come back at some point.

He started and then was injured against BC.
I'm surprised we didn't prioritize a bigger back in the portal. I mean, Reid is a great player, but unfortunately he succumbs to the laws of physics all too often. If they plan on giving him the same volume as last season they better also plan on him being in street clothes on the sidelines fairly often.
If he’s not ready till August he’s not gonna be game ready. Sad. Rooting for him. Always hurt like Tipton.
yeah, I'm hoping his only moment here isn't the game winning TD against WVU. If so, it is a good one.
Or linemen that hit and pull. If not it’s run right or left the whole season.
Or lose a bunch of yards like our last 6 embarrassing games.
Surprised he’s still here. Monroeville guy that was to good for PITT. Not like a he was from a bad part of Pittsburgh and had to get out.
coming out of Gateway I said he wasn't an every down RB and wondered what position he fit best in. I thought maybe Cignetti would be able to do something like he did with Dorin Dickerson and get him the ball in space. And with Bell, I thought something similar. But none of this ever materialized.
At Gateway, Davis was such a better athlete than everyone on the field, he could just take the ball and outrun everyone. Doesn't work like that where everyone in P4 is a good athlete. With this knee injury, I'm not holding out much hope (I know there is HIPPA and all, but can't anyone come out and just say what the heck happened to Davis), but maybe he'll have a Petrishen like career resurgence in his 5th or 6th year.
