3 of the DE names we were close/hot on are recently off the board
Noah Curtis (FIU)
Kevince Brown (NC State)
Stephon Zayas (UCF)

2 are verballed to Pitt
Carson Van Lynn
Deslin Alexandre

2 are flip candidates
Guy Thomas (Nebraska)
Kofi Wardlow (Maryland)

3 are uncommitted
Zion Debose
Chrishawn Wilson
Tyjuan Garbutt

With 3 recently giving verbals to schools I believe to be less prestigious than Pitt, something tells me that their spots were not available anymore. I think Pitt takes 4 DE's in this class meaning 2 of DeBose, Wilson and Garbutt or someone from the flip category.

I'll go out and shoot for the stars saying Pitt gets Garbutt and flips Thomas, which would be closing out the DE class with HIGH end talent.

Debose is going to VT,and it looks like Wilson is going to FAU

Wilson never visited here. I assume Pitt moved on.

Odd that they would move on from Wilson and go after a Bowman? This leads me to believe we have Garbutt and Thomas in, but just in case they pull a last second flip, we have a Bowman left. Wilson wouldn't sit there and be a last second plan B for Pitt.

They moved on from a lot of guys: Wilson, Curtis, Zayas and Brown.

I think they would like one maybe two more DEs. Think they'll only take a second if it's Garbutt or Thomas.

Not sure what to make of Bowman. Wait to see if he actually visits.

Bowman looks like a really good player. Has had trouble qualifying which may be the reason he hasn't been as highly recruited.
