The offensive play calling was way too conservative late but the defense was AWESOME!!!
Huge difference between Chryst and Narduzzi already. Just wow.
Great defensive effort today. VT had only 100 total yards with only 9 rushing. When we get this offense clicking ( I think it will eventually ) this team will be heard from in the ACC.
Absolutely my favorite part about Narduzzi. Well, that and he's Italian.
I said out loud, "these are the same guys in many respects as last year. I guess coaching does matter."
Beamer should be charged with cruelty for putting the qb so injured back in the game....

You know... I knew Price was that good... I stated before the season started that he could be All-ACC by the end of the season. I am impressed and a bit surprised with Jarrett. I am shocked with how well Caprara played (except for that one play where he left the TE wide open). He showed amazing tenacity with his sack and other tackles.
It is all due to Narduzzi and the defensive staff. Just fabulous!

It's always nice to have the most talented players... But I'd argue that a great coach would rather have maybe not the most talented players but the most determined ones. That comes from great coaching.
Maybe you won't win every game, but you sure as he'll increase your chances of winning a lot of them.
I've always thought the notion of a head coach needing "his own players" (i.e. a few years of his own recruits) to win is a bunch of hogwash usually stated by coaches who don't know how to win or get better.
Narduzzi is proving me right. He said he could make winners out of the team this year. I I believed him.
Our past few coaches all said it would take time to build a good team... You know why they say that... Cause they weren't sure how to do it.
