Went to pick up a blue t shirt for the game on Saturday (all of mine are white) and the Dick’s in Cranberry had roughly equal parts of an area for Pitt and Penn State gear.
The Pitt gear is just about wiped out. All that is left is very large and very small sizes. The Penn State gear? Take your pick. Looked like it hadn’t been touched.
Apparently the person that does their ordering buys into the myth of all of these Penn State people in Pittsburgh. The sales will suggest otherwise.
The stadium will be at worst 70/30 for Pitt, probably more like 80/20.
The presence of all of the Penn State gear is still highly annoying but also tone deaf. F the media in this city for driving the narrative that Penn State is more important here than it is.
