A slight and just a slight tease when asked about how JC may have another Year to play at Pitt? I know it was ever so slight and light but Coach PN said it? Boy, the way JC is running right now, that would be something and set Records in the ACC Echoes into Eternity! Maybe Heisman too!

I heard the statement and thought HCPN left those doing the interview speechless for several seconds. I think it was a tease and then the subject quickly changed and there was no follow up.

I head it and hope it's wrong. The man needs to go start his NFL career. Pitt should do the right thing and honor him next week in his last game in a Pitt uniform ar Heinz Field.

I like how coach Narduzzi carefully chooses his words on many subject being Cryptozoic and I believe they are Intentional, he got under Franklin's skin on the Unrivaled rival Pitt-PSU game, ever so slightly. Still, I wonder if Coach Pat would love to have JC back, just from his own experience being around him?

I know you are more correct and it is not much, but Coach Pat talks like that keeps some guessing and puts in seeds that makes many wonder?

He hasn't told the truth all year about injuries he's not telling it about Conner...he's gone.

Few Running Backs stay longer than 3 years, what JC could do in another year would be hard for anyone to break his ACC Records, much like the 47 Straight Winning Game Streak made by OU or Joe DiMaggio's Hit Streak is my point.

PITT was last part of that streak before it began back in 1953....Oklahoma holds the NCAA record for most consecutive wins by a major college program at 47-straight. The streak spanned five seasons from 1953-57. OU lost to Notre Dame, 28-21, in the 1953 season opener and tied Pittsburgh, 7-7, the next week. The streak began with a 19-14 win against archrival Texas in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas on Oct. 10, 1953.

Same with Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hitting streak, the longest in baseball history, began on May 15, 1941 and ended on July 17. Again, Pittsburgh almost played another role....DiMaggio confided to a teammate that failing to extend the streak for one more game cost him the $10,000 promised to him by the Heinz Corporation to endorse their Heinz 57 products.

Why not have JC struggles and successes be part of ACC History, by breaking the ACC Records even higher and being remembered every year mentioned into Echoes of History Eternity?

Maybe if JC can get few more TDs and end them at "57" TOUCHDOWNS Pitt Athletic Department can contract Heinz in setting up an UPMC JAMES CONNER ACC HEINZ "57" CHILDREN CANCER FUND under that name that would do wonders for many that JC inspired and need such memories with support forevermore until Cancer cured?

PITT cured Polio and Pitt take on Cancer like JC did what a great way to promote, protect, and promise hope to many!
