Did anyone see Chryst's boys steal a win in Lincoln?

They miss a FG with 1:30 down 1, I turn it off thinking game over as Nebraska got it back just needing a first down to end it. Instead, Neb goes up the middle 3 times against Wisky's stout D, Neb punts, and Wisky gets over a minute to set up its GW drive. They kick anothet FG and this time, it goes in.

They could have started 2-3 but now Nebraska is 2-4 when they could easily be 6-0.

Nebraska has lost on

- a hail mary against BYU
- a pick in OT against Miami
- an improvised QB incomplete pass which stopped the clock against Illinois when a simple run or taking a knee would have just about ended the game
- couldnt get a first down or defensive stop at the end against Wis.

sickening, Nebraska gave that one away.. Maybe the losses were heartbreaking prior but that wasn't, they simple gave it away.. I want chryst to fail, bad..

I saw the end. Anyone see the post game interview with Chryst? He did actually say when he was asked about the win that it was "neat". And he was genuinely uninspiring as usual. But hey, they won and that is what counts.

did he say he appreciated Mike Riley for being so conservative and giving him the ball back with plenty of time on the clock? Or that he appreciated his kicker for making the game winner?

I wonder if any nebraska fans are celebrating the moral victory of losing late in the game on a field goal?

I did see it and heard the neat comment. Did you notice they ran the ball to the right rather than to the middle of the field. How familiar did that look. This time his kicker made it.

I saw that game towards the end, Nebraska pulled a Pitt. It's the curse of Smiley!

Stealing wins against Nebraska like you pointed out is becoming common! Pelini is pleased! Pederson Poison is still in the NU Big Red Blood Program System, but it now on the New Athletic Director & Coach to purify back to winning, just like Gallagher, Barnes, and Narduzzi at Pitt?

I am with Dr.VY, not caring what happens to Chryst that wanted to leave Pitt in his first year and kept silent hurting recruiting until Alvarez went public and said he can't consider him since he helped Chryst get the job in the first place. Chryst left Pitt without even saying a Thank You for allowing him to be tutored as a Head Coach! His own Nephew did not have the confidence to play under him and so be it?

The same for Toad at ASU and like a bad penny keeps coming up and back! Crowing at ASU will not get him a better job and he will Cronk into losing soon, in my opinion. I understand why GraHAM did not want to work with or under Pederson, but the way he left his Players was just bush league like Quisling did to Norway during WWII!

Just pure bush!

This is why I am confident Coach Narduzzi will stay at Pitt
because he stayed in the Dorms and got to know every Pitt player personally. Coach Pat also went to fans and asked them come out more and to stay at games. These kinds of actions are made from character and courage to do as you say, and back up what you do, by doing it!

Both GraSCRAM and ChrystSAKE needed help to get into a Power Conference and only came to Pitt because Pederson really messed up the Program with horrible judgment and Nordenberg not only allowed it, but gave him Pitt Money that Contributors are still mad about today, and no one wants to reward stupid management like Pederson displayed at Pitt.

Gallagher knew this and Barnes is trying to fix it, and Narduzzi just wants to coach and rebuild the Pitt Program, and all 3 are doing it together. Unlike Nordy that passed it off to Pederson!

Wisconsin is struggling and was projected to be a Top 15 Teams and even Alvarez is seeing Chryst needs more tutoring? ASU will tired of Toad sooner or later, and he will leave when he sees he needs to do it!

Nebraska this year is truly elevating the agonizing last minute loss to an art form with many variations. Can't wait to see the next installment.

Still, not exactly an endorsement of family sticking together?
Agree, I think there was a quote from Paul after he committed though that his nephew (can't remember where he went now, drawing a blank), wanted to stay close to home and it had a lot to do with athletics. Also, I think Paul wasn't ready for the criticism he would've received if he started his nephew from Day 1.

Yes that was it and where I wrote athletics I realized was a mistype. I meant to say academics.
