Do we have any Cignetti defenders left?

I have to think Cignetti defenders are totally gone. If there are some, I’d love to know what basis they’re using. Id be more interested to hear from Narduzzi defenders. There have to be more of those, but still interested in their basis for supporting Pat.

I think Fat Frank still has at least one steadfast shill on this board. Even if you want to ignore the fact that the system he implemented may have set this program back five years, think about the quarterbacks he's brought in (both via portal and recruiting). That wouldn't be a good haul for a MAC team.

I don’t care who paid Jurkovec

I don’t care who they are or think they are in the NIL

He needs to sit

Was it his call or Narduzzis call to bring in Jurkovec? If it was his call he should be fired in an embarrassing way. If it was Narduzzi, I don't blame any of this on Cignetti then. There is no offense anyone could run to hide a QB that bad.

Phil isnt playing because of NIL. Its not like some huge booster is demanding he play. The only time I could see NIL determining whether a guy plays or not is if some big booster buys a 5 star freshman QB but demands he be the starter or he's not buying him. Jurkovec is on a "regular" salary. That is exempting him from being benched.

I'm sure it was at the behest of Narduzzi, but if there was any semblance of a chance that Jurkovec might not completely suck last night, ten handoffs to start the game ruined that. Who in their right mind could expect a dude to not live in his own head after that? And if you don't trust a QB enough to throw a forward pass, in 2023, I need to know why he is in the game.

As for bringing Phil in, I'm sure it was a joint effort - both from a collaboration standpoint and the sense that they would have had to have been high.

I didn't have a problem running it ten times as a "set the tone" kind of move. Narduzzi pissed that away by kicking a field goal from the 3 yard line though. You can't act tough, run an opening drive from 1925, then puss out at the end. I don't think that drive had anything to do with the QBs play- Jurkovec showed last week why we should run it as much as possible.

Frank is who he is and who he always was. If the QB could complete a forward pass they'd be 3-0.

What I blame him for is sticking with this QB. He should know better, and I seriously doubt his input isn't highly considered by the HC.

Next week I'll blame Narduzzi if they trot out the same QB. He ain't gettin fixed. Time to end the experiment.
