Does their fanbase hate their own administration for "caving" on self imposed sanctions? ...who can the Boeheim family start suing?

All questions that demand resolution like yesterday...

They got a harsher scholarship reduction penalty than Penn State (before the NCAA re-instituted all of them). If Syracuse wanted to lack institutional control, they should have covered up criminal activity instead of letting players play when they were inelgible (oh, the horror!).

I think the larger question here is, why were all these Syracuse players deemed ineligible in the first place? They never would have been ineligible at places like PSU, WVU, OSU, etc.

Given the severity of these sanctions, what must the NCAA be planning for Duke given that they knowingly let a player twice accused of sexual assault continue to play for a full year? We all the answer to that -- nothing. Its Duke.

Probably concoct a way to sanction Wake or NC State.

Famous Jerry Tarkanian quote "When Kentucky has a violation, Cleveland State gets put on probation". Nothing will happen to Duke for the player accused of sexual assault nor UNC for their academic scandal.

Correct. And as I posted the other day, this is what should be the most sobering to Syracuse and its fans. By mere receipt of these sanctions, it signals that Syracuse is perceived (by NCAA and the mega corporations that run college sports ) as much closer to Cleveland State than to Kentucky.

Rony Seiklay was just spoiled carrying a cardboard cutout of Jim Boeheim near the Carrier Dome. He is demanding the wins be restored. #crazyfranco

Nobody should ever be sanctioned for being "ACCUSED" of something, you should have to be CONVICTED 1st! Some lying slut said something and screwed the INNOCENT Duke Lacrosse team! And getting drunk and hiring a stripper is legal so it's perfectly fine for college athletes over age 21 to do things like that! In fact WTF good is going to college anymore if you can't be promiscuous, fcck like a rabbit and be drunk a lot.

No, but there is a d-bag hypocrite Boob Schmuck-zik railing against Boeheim.

Apparently Jim deserves far worse than Ped-turd-o

/facepalm
