Does your HC typically say stuff like this?

Honestly, seems like providing a little more motivation to one of the top scoring offenses in the country is a bad idea. I'm not flaming, but being serious. Does he often "step in it"?

Pat Narduzzi on UCF (16 straight Ws) compared to UNC (4-11 in last 15): "Are they much better? I don’t know. I think North Carolina’s pretty good. It’s hard to say this offense is better than that offense."

So what was he supposed to say?......NC sucks and UCF is far superior. Now,
does he sometimes say things that makes us wonder?...yes, but this ain't one
of those times. What he's doing IMO, is not throwing NC under the bus. He also
is saying that it's difficult to make a comparison. Actually he has been praising UCF all week long.
As I see it, the one time he seems to take the high road and is somewhat "political",
he gets nailed for it. Sorry Bud, but if that's the best you got for "motivation" or
locker room bulletin board material....well, you ain't got much.

I read the article in the Post Gazette and there really wasn't much there. He was referring specifically to the offense.

I'm not a Narduzzi fan, but drawing anything out if that comment is really a reach.

I would put it this wsy: no Pitt fan would decline a trade if UCF or UNC offered to swap coaching staffs. You should find out Saturday just how bumbling Narduzzi is. He’s Italian. Think of him as a dumber Fredo.

He of the comments”Duquesne has really good program..we’d love to play them”...lol.

Yeah he says stuff like this all the time. We could be playing against a local A football team and he'd talk about what a great team we were going up against. He's just a dolt.
Saban does the exact same thing. It's very common, meaningless, coach speak. Generally just trying not to be disrespectful of an opponent. To listen to Doozi, PSU is the weakest team on our schedule each year.

I don't have a problem with saying each opponent is good. It's when he says stuff like "who knows if UCF's offense is better than UNCs" that I shake my head

If you watch Narduzzi’s press conferences he tends to be very conversational in answering his questions and I see a few examples each week of things he says that can easily be taken out of context or misinterpreted. He could use some media coaching, but at this point he needs “coaching” coaching more.

Our head coach is an idiot. Seriously.

Did he have a little notebook in his hand and keep looking at it when he said those things?

If not that means he didn't have a cribsheet with the answers on it and that's always a crapshoot as to what comes out of his mouth.

“No Doubt About It”

I understand that some Pitt fans now hate Narduzzi with a passion because he's disappointed them and not met their expectations...but this is a harmless comment.
