That's the story. Dokish is a bit of a strange bird and he may be back but I certainly din't blame him if somebody is threatening his family.
There are a lot of jnternet tough guys but there are also too many real nutcases out there.

He received threats via email on his blog. This nut job called his wife's employer trying to cause trouble as well. That's the gist of it. Apparently the guy was well known on another Pitt forum as a real PITA. I know his handle but don't want him looking up where I live haha. I'm pretty sure Dokish already got the cops involved so maybe they told him to lay low for a while - don't know but this was the first I heard his account was deleted.

I don't know as this the only board I participate in. Do a search on twitter of "Chris Dokish" and it shouldn't be too hard to find I don't think.
I would not put it past some Nitters to do that. They are like the ISIS of fanbases. Conform or off with the head.
He's been on a lot of Pitt forums.
He'd overrun Zeise's blog, and then complain that the football team was voting down his comments to get his message hidden. Smizik apparently just censored him. He started showing up on Pitt Blather about the time I quit reading it.
He apparently had a different handle here years ago, and I guess got banned. He came back under pretty much the same name, but only lasted about a week.
Care to share what that handle was? There's been a lot of guys with a lot of handles that have come and gone on these boards.
I'm honestly not 100% sure what is was previously. I've seen other posters reference it, but I don't recall anyone by that name.

He was an idiot but, Doke could be too sensitive at times.

Correct. And demonstrating his sensitivity of course only encouraged a lot of the people messing with him. But of course it should never even have gone anywhere near the level that this (or someone) did. Dokish made a blog posted directed at him (which has since been taken down too - the topic not the whole blog) where this guy claimed "it wasn't me" but also made some additional threats, including calling his wife's place of employment which he did. I would imagine the cops are sorting this one out.
Can anyone else see him constructing this as a way to get followers? Nah, me neither. Ahem,..............

I was joking of course about Doke creating this drama..........mostly.
But I was not about Penn State fans being the ISIS of sports fans. They make Alabama and Auburn fans seem sane. The only thing that saves Nitwits is they don't have that nasally southern drawl which automatically detracts 30 points off of one's IQ when they talk.
But the Nitters are a sick bunch. And thanks to the NCAA, they have been emboldened by intimidation tactics to get what they want or silence who they don't want. It is really scary and why I use a pseudonym on all social media sites.
