Dorin and Bill Stull

Bill Stull said the toughest thing for Nate P. going into the NFL will be learning and mastering the "language" of the play calling.

Bill said that a play might take something like 8 words for him to call at Pitt, but that exact play would take 15 or more words in the NFL.

Go Pitt.

It's cool the Fan has them on the air talking Pitt along with the usual crappie. They both are excellent.

Mental part of the game is probably Nate's biggest asset. After all - he earned his undergraduate degree at Tennessee is just 3 years.

And -- he has the Gruden stamp of approval.

Bill Stull giving anyone advise on how to last in the NFL is laughable. Didn't he get cut from the Pittsburgh arena team?

Do your thing, Nate.

yeah but it is just "Omaha" repeated 15 times so that makes it somewhat easier.

So you know more about this than someone who was actually in the league! Give us a break

Well... not defending him, but people that assume someone doesnt know more than someone else just because they did not have a cup of coffee in the show is not always accurate. Some smart people just go into different fields right?

That being said... you are right in this case :) I mean I was cut by the Padres and Reds, doesnt mean I dont know how to teach a kid how to improve his fastball or throw a 12-6 curve. So, Stull being cut by whoever means nothing, although his advice may be to be better than he was.

He very well could be knowledgeable of the topic and have good insight but not the physical abilty or talent to be a top QB. Who are you to judge him, are you an expert QB or coach?

Sorry that everyone is so butt hurt over Bill Stull. It's funny because I remember 10 years ago when everyone was up in arms about Wanny throwing him a bone of an offer at the end of the recruiting cycle because we were desperate for a QB. He and Tino were the most scrutinized QBs I can remember at PITT - now everyone wants to be up in arms about me criticizing him? Give me a break.
