Double Header With UNC

Game 1: Pitt leads 5-2 after 7 1/2 innings. Nico Popa with 2-run HR in 1st. David Yanni drove in Ron Washington for 3-0 lead.

UNC scored 2 to make it 3-2 but Pitt has added on 2 runs and bullpen has kept UNC off the scoreboard. Ron Washington hit 437 foot HR for one of Pitt’s runs.

Pitt trying to add an insurance run in the bottom of the 8th.

Pitt wins 6-2. No announcers but I think Chase Smith closed it out. Meyers went 6; Corey Sawyer (I think) pitched the 7th and Smith (I think) pitched the final 2 innings.
