CBSsports.com college football analyst Chip Patterson recently discussed his views on 2020 NFL Draft prospect Dane Jackson. Jackson, who is a former Pitt Panther cornerback, was a starter during his last three seasons in college.
Jackson started in every game for the Pitt Panthers in 2017 through 2019 seasons. During the 2019 season, his senior year, Jackson made 40 total tackles (28 solos), defended 12 passes, and caught one interception. Jackson was one of the more consistent defensive backs in the ACC over the past three years.
According to the latest CBSsports.com NFL Mock Draft, Jackson is predicted to be drafted by Green Bay in the fourth round. Jackson, who was measured at the NFL Combine at 6-foot, 187-pounds, is currently ranked as the No. 143 NFL Draft prospect by CBSsports.com.
Here is what Josh Edwards, CBS Sports NFL Draft Writer, had to say about his prediction of Jackson going to the Green Bay Packers:
"Green Bay adds Jackson to compete alongside Josh Jackson. If nothing else, he should be a good nickel."
