It looks like he could be a future stud OL guy for us, but VERY little chance he starts. And stop calling him 'she'.

He's a monster of a player who has the size of a college OL. It's not completely out of the question for him to see time as a freshman, if he picks up the entire playbook and nuances of this offense. This should be interesting to watch develop.

Remember his interviews when he committed. He's a very cerebral young guy. That's a tremendous asset for any football player and in particular for an OL who has to do a lot of thinking to able to understand blocking concepts and schemes to play effectively in conjunction with the other 4 OL.

Drake seems to have talent, size and smarts. An excellent combination. Hope he continues to work hard and stay healthy. Sounds like he has a chance to be a fine player.

Smart Recruits Choose Pitt is It!

Sir Francis Drake circumnavigated the earth in 1580 - and yet we still have prominent people who believe that the earth is flat… in 2017.

Somebody's never been to Kansas.

It would only take five minutes in the central part of that state to realize how silly your statement is...

I didn't intend for this to be confusing for you. I also didn't think anyone would get "moist" from reading it.

It's pretty hard to tell with all the dumb people who do actually think the world is flat. I am positive we have some on this board.

I will only ever refer to Jerry as "the Drake". And something tells me that as his play progresses, develops, matures & his reputation catches on Jerry is going to be associated w/ the old Seinfeld character & how they admired "the Drake".
What's not to luv about "the Drake" !!! H2 PITT !!!

p.s. When we were running, what seemed to be late into the recruiting cycle, w/o having really connected on O-Linemen last year I would have never envisioned getting both Warren & "the Drake". If anything I saw us getting Thayer Munford if anyone. But when Warren surprised this entire site (w/ all expecting the mystery recruit to be Reeves in Oct.) & Carter Warren was the man I know I was pleasantly surprised. And then top land "the Drake" in what seemed like a 2 week master recruiting onslaught late in the process we went from Pitt O-Line class being suspect to being a high point of the class altogether.
