They were paying Purnell $2.2M I saw, that was signed when they were getting less money in the old Big East as a hoops only member. They'll have the money.

DePaul was a bit resurgent under Dave Leitao in the middle of last decade, but went right down when he left for Virginia right as DePaul joined the Big East. A good coach could easily win there.
