Dropped to 51 in NET from 49

Our road record is 7-3 with a quad breakdown of 3-2, 1-1, 2-0, 1-0 which is one of best in the country.

Reading some stuff online last night and even today hearing some suggest Pitt is close to being on the bubble after this loss to Virginia Tech is beyond absurd. Teams lose games it happens. Pitt probably wasn’t going to win out the rest of the way and this was a Quad 1 road loss as well. I still think Pitt is no questions asked in the NCCA Tournament and winning games this week at home versus Georgia Tech and Syracuse will help solidify that even more.

Has the third place ACC team ever missed the tourney since it expanded? 14-6 likely clinches third place.

It would have to take a complete meltdown to miss at this point

It all depends on the AQ and bubble field, which is weak. A lot of fringe teams lost yesterday too. I wouldn’t write off an 11-6 first round matchup with TCU. I think they avoid Dayton, though a loss to ND or Cuse may change that.
