Not going to go into each player tonight. Just some general thoughts overall on the game. I thought Kene played very hard and brought a lot of energy. Shamiel played hard as well.

The offense tonight was extremely disappointing to me. The one area that Duke has been vulnerable is on defense. They have given up a lot of points and have had to go zone. From the start, it just seemed like most of the players were a bit shocked and intimidated.

The talent difference is just incredible. Marvin Bagley is at worst a top 3 pick in the spring. He didn't even play that well and missed 6 FTs. He could have named his numbers. Him and Carter up front is just incredible. That is where the biggest difference was, up front. Just a different level.

In my opinion, the biggest disappoint was the guard play. I thought Marcus and the perimeter would at least be competitive and looked like they belong. The front court was just a different world, but the back court didn't prove to be much closer. The starting perimeter was 4-21 from the field. Marcus continues to struggle in a lot of these conference games with athletic point guards. Trevon Duval is quite the matchup.

If you take away Kene's two threes, 2-20 from three. This team will lost to anyone if that happens, let alone Duke.

This is one where you just have to throw the tape out. No sense in watching it really. However, this could be danger time. With so many young impressionable freshmen, it is imperative that the staff keeps the confidence of these kids. On the flip side, maybe the youth helps and it doesn't bother them. I just worry about them getting down and letting it impact the development.

On the bright side, this is as talented as it gets. Not sure they will see another team the rest of this season with that much talent, At least 4 first rounders on that roster.
