At the end of the match which St Louis won 4-3. The St Louis GK came over to shake the hand of one of the Duke players.

The Duke player punched him on the jaw.

What a classless bunch of crybabies and losers!

Their games vs Pitt was very chippy. Loefflesand got 2 yellows costing us the next game and I think Duke had a player sent off as well.

Is this for real? What Duke player was it?

How do you know that the goalie was congratulating him and not giving him shit?

What he did was really bad and should result in a multi-game suspension. However, he pushed him in the face, not punched him. That's actually a pretty big difference.

I would call that a punch, not a push. Not a great punch; not a hard punch; but a punch. It was with a closed or partially closed fist. I don’t think it really matters. The ACC or NCAA has to do something. Duke won’t. Look what happened to their star freshman BB player after he was arrested for “assisting” a DUI, which I assume means that he provided the drinks to the driver and probably was drunk himself —absolutely nothing.

Taylor Twellman is from St. Louis. I thought he played for that Scott Gallagher youth side, which is one of the best in the nation but apparently he didn't. That's where Josh Sargent and Tim Ream played. Indiana recruits there a bunch.
My daughter played against Scott Gallagher this summer at nationals. Large club, good soccer, and send lots of players to solid D1 programs. I assume the boys side is really solid also.
