When adversity strikes in any way, these kids collapse. The are no leaders. It Seems like the players don't even like eachother. There is enough talent here to win alot of these games. That said, we just don't play well as a team. There is too much individualism. I think some of these guys are more concerned with personal development than they are with winning.
Which leads me to the bigger problem. Capel has gone down this same road for 3 straight years. It is all on him. He is the ultimate leader of the program. The fact that he can't get through to XJ is a serious problem. When instructions are not followed, then there have to be changes.
XJ has one more year, should he decide to come back. It might be better if he doesn't return. Penny is another issue. He refuses too defend with any reasonable effort. We are not winning games so Capel should be benching these guys until they get the message.
