I had him as a teacher in college and had no idea he played at Pitt. The article claimed he sacked Staubach seven times for Pitt. Longtime Clarion head coach as well.

Thank you for the information. Played for Al Jacks and Coach Sobolewski back in 1977 n 78.
Al Jacks was a quarterback for Penn State. Sorry don't know the year!!

I will miss sobo played for him at clarion 79 and 80, ha d heard rumors he was tough at Pitt. I think he played high school ball at Freeport
