Been looking at our early conference foes.....
1. NCState....losses to Purdue & Wofford....no big win.
2. B.C....losses to UMASS & USC......no big win.
3. Clemson...losses to Winthrop, Gardner-Webb, RU & So.Car. Nice win @ LSU
4. FSU....losses to Northeastern, Prov., UMASS...no big win
5. GT....loss to SC Upstate. No big win.
I'd say that we have a shot at all of those games, 3 at home. Of course, we could lose them all, but I'm thinking we go 4-1.
The funny thing is that the late-season games are all winnable, too. That stretch starting with Duke on 1/19 is as tough as ANY group we played in the BE, and I don't think KY would escape that unscathed. If we get 2-3 wins + Bryant, we'd be around 19-12. Greensboro would be the hurdle. The only bad loss would be Hawaii, and that's not as bad as first thought. Can't have more than one bad loss in-conference, though. I'm predicting that we get in by 2 wins in Greensboro.
