BAMA-OHIO STATE TOSS UP BAMA WIN
FSU-USC WINNER FSU
BAMA-FSU TOSS UP WIN BAMA!
SEC-CHAMP-BAMA
ACC CHAMP-FSU
P12 CHAMP USC
B10 CHAMP-OSU
B12 CHAMP-TEXAS No Invite (Big-12 Must Play Extra Game)
PROPOSAL TO CHANGE PLAYOFFS TO INCREASE MORE REVENUES, COMPETITION, AND KEEPING SEASON WINS AND LOSSES MORE RELEVANT AND STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE (SOS) TOO:
Proposed Changes In CFB Playoff Invitation For Future:
1. End Conference Championship Games Saves One Game To Add 8 Teams
2. End Bowl Selection For Those 4 Playoffs Games Go Home Stadium
3. Each Power Conference Designated One Champ Plus 3 Teams At Large By CFB Committee
4. Play Those 4 Games At Selected Designated Home Team Stadiums On SOS Records
5. Play The 2 Games Left At Neutral Stadium As Bid By Those Stadiums
6. Play Championship Game Anywhere As Bid By That Stadium
7. Implement New System in 2019
This prevent one more game by ending the Conference Championship that does not mean much anyway, based on last few and this year controversies selections, the CFB Playoff Invite Committee will decide the 8 Teams with Power Conference each getting one.
Remaining Bowls Changes for Non-Eight Top Teams:
1. All Other Bowls Plays No Graduation Seniors Or Juniors NFL Declare Draft.
2. The Seniors Become Sideline Coaches Cheerleaders Types & Have Great Time Partying.
3. Only Underclassmen Practice & Play For Next Year In All Bowls As Preview To Come.
4. Heisman Not Awarded Until After One Week After Championship Game.
5. Heisman Awarded Saturday before The Super Bowl.
This way remaining Bowls become portending Line Ups and Players for next year. Saves Seniors from being hurt for the NFL Draft and Rewarded by having a Great Time without worrying about playing and still help Coaches and intermingle with Underclassmen that take their place. More Program Fans may actually attend to see how their younger players perform as a preview for the next year. These Bowls are not being sold out in attendance anyway. So, the Championship Bid System below makes more money to share with them all too. Bigger NCS Playoffs Bids Bigger Sharing for all unlike now?
If there was No Conference Championship Games in 2016-17 This is How Playoffs Would Look In Hindsight:
SEC Committee Selection:BAMA #1 Seed
ACC Committee Selection: CLEMSON #2 Seed
B10 Committee Selection: PENN STATE (Due To 8 Straight Wins & Over OSU) #3 Seed
P12 Committee Selection: USC (Due To 8 Straight Wins & Wash & Colorado) #4 Seed
B12 Committee Selection OKLAHOMA #5 Seed
CFB Committee Selection #6 Team: OHIO STATE or Oklahoma State
CFB Committee Selection #7 Team: MICHIGAN or Wisconsin
CFB Committee Selection #8 Team: WASHINGTON or FSU
#1 BAMA Plays #8 Seed WASH or FSU at BAMA
#2 CLEMSON Plays #7 Seed Michigan Or Wisky At CLEMSON
#3 PENN STATE Plays #6 Seed Ohio State or Oklahoma State at PENN STATE
#4 USC Plays #5 Seed Oklahoma at USC
In this way, the Whole season still counts and rewards Teams with better records and SOS and winning the last most games by playing at Home, and Home & Visiting Crowds Sell Out Stadiums at those Locations. Kind like of NFL Advantages for Best Records in Playoffs. Either way, it makes watching College Football more exciting with passionate fans selling out the stadium before important Playoff Games!.
Winner Of #1 & #8 Highest Neutral Stadium Bid
Winner Of #2 & #7 Highest Neutral Stadium Bid
Winner Of #3 & #6 Highest Neutral Stadium Bid
Winner Of #4 & #5 Highest Neutral Stadium Bid
In this way, Bowls can still Bid on the Games, just not being favored by any fashion, more money and CFB Committee & NCAA selects it. This brings back the NCAA being involved like it is with March Madness Basketball Tournament! Right now, the NCAA has no input in CFB Playoff Invitation Committee.
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME PLAYED At HIGHEST NEUTRAL STADIUM BID!
Just some thoughts and guesses to develop a far better system in the future.
