In spite of the unnecessary killing of millions of chickens last year, and the mismanagement of the food and supply chain, looks like Easter will be saved afterall.

The USDA reported that the average wholesale price for a dozen eggs has plummeted to $4.15—marking a dramatic $2.70 decline from just a week ago. At the end of last month, prices had soared to over $8 per dozen, forcing many consumers to cut back on a staple in the refrigerator. However, as demand dipped and supply chain conditions improved, costs started to stabilize.

I know this is bad news for a few of you. I’m sorry to share it with you and hope you’ll be ok.

I can't tell if you are trying to be funny because there's no way that Trump told farmers how to farm chickens. Egg prices have nothing to do with who the President is. Food prices have nothing to do with who the President is. I make fun of Trump just because he said he is going to lower Food prices when he can't. Food may come down but only if we hit tough economic times. Supply and demand.

great just in time for for the traveling season. Just noticed today gas prices were 7 cents lower at the Get Go near me. I’m happy so why is it bad? Gas prices go up and down all the time.
I used to buy natural gas for 20 high rise buildings for the 25 years that I was negotiating gas prices the price would go from 1.25 an mcf to a high of $15 a mcf. Then the price would drop all the way down $1.20 an mcf. Supply and demand and the future market predicated on the next winter forecast. I would buy in June or July before the prices would start to climb

listen to oil companies talk about high gas prices a few years back was maddening. The ceo's would come on and say how great it is for "Americans" because the profits would be spent on R/D by oil companies which was best in the long run for working americans.
