I’m pretty effin drunk currently and have a million thoughts.

I am soooo close to being able to say I completely understand his position, and that I wouldn’t turn down that money usc is offering, but I can’t. He’s only playing one more year before he goes to the nfl and makes millions, and this year he’d make at least 6 figures here. There’s no more guarantee he’d have more success at usc then here. No one gives a shit about west coast college football. In the end you have to hate the system more then the player.

And I’m thinking that this is the final result of any successful amateur style league in our system. Money and profit drive will creep in no matter what. When the big heads and conferences start only caring about profits over tradition and loyalty why shouldn’t the players do the same. Can we blame players going to big teams for money, when teams leave for bigger conferences for the same reason. I think college sports were destined to die off or at least become what we’re seeing now. Best bet now is to add promotion/relegation to college sports.

oh well, I’m sad and drunk now, but at least we had this season.
