And, the writer used "13-9" to make his point.

"Sometimes the 10% team does it in a 13-9 game where they only allow 12 first downs to the 90% team that scored 66 points the week before, and triggers a series of events that ends with the 90% team’s coach leaving for Michigan and the team losing their best chance at a national championship ever.

We’re sorry to bring this up again— even after ten years, West Virginia, we know it’s not over, and will never be."

Are there any "do-over" games you guys would like to see?

Several recent NC games...

That Wanny game with Cincy ...

Go Pitt

If we were to play that game 9 more times Pitt would win at least 7 of them, minimum.

H2 PITT !!!

I respectfully disagree... They were a very talented team... They had Five 1st round draft picks (Munchack, Ferrell, Blackledge, Warner, Jackson... Not to mention guys like Ashley, Wisniewski, Garrity, etc... Pitt came into the game feeling a little smug, especially after taking a two touchdown lead. Pitt let their guard down, turned over the ball, they lost their composure and PSU to their credit capitalized and never let up. Pitt was totally stunned...

I'd say it would be a split at best.

I cannot believe you have to ask a Pitt fan. My god.....the answer is so obvious.

The 1977 Notre Dame is one that I'd like to have seen played over. Not only do I think Pitt, "wouda, couda, shoulda" beat them, I think Pitt could have had a really good chance to repeat as National Champs.

A tie to Florida in Gainsville, and a two point loss to the Pedophile enablers were the only other blemishes that season. Two blemishes that may not have happened if it weren't for the opening week loss.
