His dad is not listed as a Pitt football letterman in the media guide. There are mentions that he was a track star so maybe he was one of those track guys who got into NFL camps?

Yeah, I looked him up immediately. Can’t even ever remember his name. My guess is that he needed played.

His dad was a 3X All-American hurdler (8X BE champ) in T&F at Pitt. After he graduated, gave football a try. Was on the Steelers practice squad as a receiver. Don't think he ever played in a regular season NFL game (not in Pro Football Reference).
